Creating a positive learning environment
Positive Behaviour for Learning is a school wide system we have in place to create a quality learning environment.
All students are explicitly taught appropriate and acceptable school behaviour. Our teachers and staff are also expected to model this behaviour.
As a school we have agreed on some universal interventions. These include behaviours on being respectful, being kind, being a learner and being safe.
Specific actions include
· being properly prepared for school
· walking in corridors
· following directions and
· waiting turns.
Positive Behaviour for Learning is a great success. Expectations for behaviour are clear allowing everyone to focus on learning.
